I have been a practicing architect for over 40 years. My portfolio of completed work includes a broad range of residential, institutional, religious,educational, retail, office and hospitality projects. Throughout my career the work has focused on project specific responses to each site and the individual user’s needs. Where appropriate, I have consistently incorporated passive energy solutions tailored to the local environment. My work is humanistic, with the design evolving directly from client dialogue rather than a preconceived or stylized solution. I have worked directly with contractors since the beginning of my career, which has given me a thorough understanding of the construction process as well as an appreciation for a value oriented approach to design solutions. A majority of my work has been with repeat clients, and I strive to maintain open and respectful communication with all the parties involved. I love what I do and approach every project, large or small, with an open mind and a sense of hope.
