A small commercial building in La Jolla, California. Embracing both the old world charm of La Jolla and the clients desire for a contemporary statement, the design employs traditional elements executed in a crisp and simple style with elegant materials. First floor includes retail plus rear parking. Second floor is single tenant offices. In order to simplify permit processing fifty percent of the original walls were retained primarily at the rear of the property.
Retail interior remodeling of a jewelry store in La Jolla, California. The client asked for a design which would work with his Louis XVI chairs, but at the same time could incorporate the contemporary branding of Panerai, et al. Not unlike the building above, rich materials rendered is a simple straightforward manner, yet still incorporating classical rhythm and ornament.
A sporting club in Alameda, California, on the site of the former Alameda Naval Air Station. The project remodeled the interior of a really big building incorporating a fitness club, rock climbing, a sports bar and restaurant, hockey, soccer and basketball. The former aircraft hangar is historically designated and so the exterior of the building was left intact.
The San Diego County Credit Union has branches throughout San Diego County. Ground up design was provided for the Temecula, El Cajon, and Eastlake locations. Complete new tenant Improvement designs were provided for the Chula Vista, San Marcos, and Pacific Beach branches. The Mira Mar, San Diego, and Vista branches were remodeled to include new finishes and interior space planning.
A 14,200 square foot gymnastics facility located in Solana Beach, California. The main 8,000 square foot gym space is passively heated and cooled. Smaller retail space located on the street frontage will be for related uses such as martial arts and yoga.
